Before opening Smithereens in New York City's East Village, a seafood-centric restaurant that earned a three-star review from The New York Times, Chef Nick Tamburo spent years cooking in high-end kitchens around the world. In February 2026, he brought it all to Healdsburg.
A friend of our team and a kindred spirit in the kitchen, Nick joined Chef Sean and the Troubadour crew for a seafood-forward menu with subtle nods to coastal New England.
Guests in the dining room and at the chef's table heard Nick and Sean talk through their courses, their influences, and, naturally, their favorite punk shows. It was one hell of a night.
